Flyability opens first U.S. office in Denver
To continue its rapid expansion into U.S. markets and offer more robust support to customers and partners, Swiss drone company Flyability has opened its first U.S. office in Denver, Colorado.
Known for its Elios 2 drone for indoor inspections, Flyability says that the new office in Denver will allow it to provide “timely, more localized support to U.S. customers and partners, as well as continue to strengthen and develop strategic partnerships throughout the country and surrounding areas.”
Several factors made Denver an ideal place for Flyability to establish its first U.S. office, the company says, including its central location in North America, being home to a community with a strong focus on technology, and the city’s large airport, which makes it easier for the company to provide close support to customers thanks to more frequent onsite consultations and training.
“This is a very meaningful step for our company and for our clients,” says Flyability co-founder and CEO, Patrick Thevoz. “We are excited to have sales and support staff on the ground in what is already our fastest growing market.”
Alexandre Meldem, Flyability VP of Sales, spent a year and a half growing Flyability’s presence in North America among several industries from the company’s headquarters in Switzerland. Meldem will help open the new office.
“Being in the same timezone as our clients and partners will have a profound effect on the way we can support and advise them in the use of our technology,” Meldem says.
“We will be quicker to react to their needs and to provide onsite support as needed.”
Several industries either currently use or are testing Flyability’s UAS for indoor inspections including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Waste Management.
